Vocational Education and Training Regulations 2005

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Vocational Education and Training Act 1994 .6 June 2005

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Vocational Education and Training Regulations 2005 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on 29 June 2005. 3InterpretationIn these regulations – Act means the Vocational Education and Training Act 1994 ; certificate level means a certificate of that level specified in the Australian Qualifications Framework; short course means a course that leads to a statement of attainment. 4FeesThe fees specified in Schedule 1 are prescribed as the fees payable in respect of the several matters to which they respectively relate. EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation) These regulations –

(a) prescribe the fees payable for certain applications under the Vocational Education and Training Act 1994 ; and (b) are made consequentially on the repeal of the Vocational Education and Training Regulations 1995 under section 11 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1992 .
