Vocational Education and Training (Colleges)

Amendment Regulations 2022

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1. Citation

These regulations are the Vocational Education and Training

(Colleges) Amendment Regulations 2022.

2.   Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3. Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Vocational Education and Training

(Colleges) Regulations 1996.

4.           Regulation 13 amended

After regulation 13(3) insert:

(a) delete paragraphs (ca) and (cb);

(4) Subregulation (3) does not apply if —

(a)	the person is in the final year of secondary school and will not, after the completion of that year, be enrolled at a secondary school; and
(b)	the person commences the course after the end of the 2nd week of the final school term determined for government schools for that year under the School Education Act 1999 section 117.

5.           Regulation 20 amended

In regulation 20(2):

(b) in paragraph (cc) delete "participating as job seekers" and insert:

who are active participants

(c) in paragraph (cc) delete "Online Employment Services;" and insert:

Workforce Australia;
