Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Vocational Education and
Training Amendment Regulations 2003.

2.            The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Vocational
Education and Training Regulations 1996*.

3.             Regulation 20 amended

After regulation 20(2)(ea) the following paragraph is inserted -

44

(eb) persons who have reached 15 years of age, who

have not reached 18 years of age and who are
not due to reach 18 years of age in the calendar

year for which they enrol;

4.            Schedule 1 amended

Schedule 1 is amended as follows:

(a)

in item 5(a) by deleting "64 cents;" and inserting " 68 cents; ";

(b)

in item 5(b) by deleting "$1.21," and inserting “ $1.29, ";

(c)

in item 5(i) by deleting "$220.85;" and inserting " $248.20; ";

(d)

in item 5(ii) by deleting "$441.70." and inserting " $470.85. ";

(e) in item 8 by deleting "$21.00" and inserting instead — " $21.70 ".
