VISY MILL FACILITATION ACT 1997 No 139—

PROCLAMATION

(L.S.) GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South

Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Visy Mill Facilitation Act 1997, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 3 July 1998 as the day on which that Act (except section 15 and Schedule 1) commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the Visy Mill Facilitation Act 1997, except provisions of that Act that modify the Timber Plantations (Harvest Guarantee) Act 1995. The modifications made by those provisions have already been made by amendments contained in the Timber Plantations (Harvest Guarantee) Amendment Act 1997.
