HEREAS it is desirable to prevent the introduction of diseasedPreamde.
W | Governor of the Province of South Au.stralia, with the advice and | |
consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly of the said Province, in this present Parliament assembled, as follows: | ||

or rooted vines, either absolutely or from any countries thcrein | ||
named whose vineyards are infected, or may be suspected of being infected, by any kind of disease, whether such disease shall be caused by an insect named | ||

as to the whole or any of the countries rncntioned in the Proclama- tion containing such prohibition. |
3. Any person who sllall, during the continuance of any suchP e n W.
prohibition, import or introduce any vine cuttings or rootcd vines from any country included in such Proclamation, shall forfeit and
pay a sum of not less than

destroyed by fire.
