Victorian Inspectorate Amendment Regulations 2025

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Victorian Inspectorate Regulations 2023—

(a)to update outdated references to the Victorian Inspectorate and the Victorian Inspectorate Act 2011 following the commencement of Division 2 of Part 12 of the Justice Legislation Amendment (Integrity, Defamation and Other Matters) Act 2024; and

(b)to update the prescribed form for a confidentiality notice to reflect the establishment of the Parliamentary Workplace Standards and Integrity Commission under the Parliamentary Workplace Standards and Integrity Act 2024.

2Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 103 and 104 of the Integrity Oversight Victoria Act 2011.

3Principal Regulations

In these Regulations, the Victorian Inspectorate Regulations 2023[1] are called the Principal Regulations.

4Title of Principal Regulations amended

In the title of the Principal Regulations, for "Victorian Inspectorate" substitute "Integrity Oversight Victoria".

5Objectives of Principal Regulations

In regulation 1 of the Principal Regulations—

(a)for "the Victorian Inspectorate" (wherever occurring) substitute "Integrity Oversight Victoria";

(b)for "Victorian Inspectorate" substitute "Integrity Oversight Victoria".

6Authorising provisions of Principal Regulations

In regulation 2 of the Principal Regulations, for "Victorian Inspectorate" substitute "Integrity Oversight Victoria".

7Definition
