Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Act 1998

Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (Schedule 1 Amendments) Rules 2021

The Rules Committee established by section 150 of the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Act 1998 makes the following Rules:

1Object

The object of these Rules is to amend the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Rules 2018 to amend functions of the review and regulation list and the guardianship list.

2Authorising provisions

These Rules are made under section 157 of the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Act 1998 and all other enabling powers.

3Commencement

These Rules come into operation on 11 June 2021.

4Review and Regulation List

(1)In clause 3(1) of Schedule 1 to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Rules 2018[1], in item 3.56, after "Salaries" insert ", Allowances".

(2)In clause 3(1) of Schedule 1 to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Rules 2018, for item 3.71 substitute—

"3.71Road Safety (Vehicles) Interim Regulations 2020 regulations 126 (external review of decisions relating to registration of vehicles) and 207;".

(3)In clause 3(1) of Schedule 1 to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Rules 2018, after item 3.96 insert—

"3.96AWorker Screening Act 2020;".

(4)In clause 3(1) of Schedule 1 to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Rules 2018, item 3.97 is revoked.

5Guardianship List

In clause 7(1) of Schedule 1 to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Rules 2018, for item 7.3 substitute—

"7.3Medical Treatment Planning and Decisions Act 2016;".
