(Amendment No. 6) Rules 2000
The Rules Committee established by section 150 of the makes the following Rules:
1. Object
The object of these Rules is to amend the Principal Rules to make further provision for the constitution of the Tribunal in certain proceedings and to amend the list of enactments allocated to the Administrative division of the Tribunal.
2. Authorising provisions
These Rules are made under section 157 of the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Act 1998 and all other enabling powers.
3. Constitution of Tribunal in certain proceedings
In Rule 5.06 of the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Rules 19981—
(1) In sub-rule (1), for "Any matter" substitute
"Subject to sub-rule (7), any matter".
(2) In sub-rule (2), for "Any matter" substitute
"Subject to sub-rule (7), any matter".
(3) In sub-rule (3), for "Any matter" substitute
"Subject to sub-rule (7), any matter".

S.R. No. 108/2000 r. 4 (4) In sub-rule (4), for "Any matter" substitute
"Subject to sub-rule (7), any matter".
(5) In sub-rule (5), for "Any matter" substitute
"Subject to sub-rule (7), any matter".
(6) After sub-rule (6) insert—
"(7) The President may determine that a
particular matter may be determined by the Tribunal constituted otherwise than in accordance with the requirements of sub-rules (1), (2), (3), (4) or (5).".
4. Amendments to Schedule 1—allocation of functions
In Schedule 1 to the Victorian Civil and
Administrative Tribunal Rules 1998, in Part 1—
(a) for clause 3(a) substitute— "(a) Adoption Act 1984 section 129A(1)(b)
(decisions regarding approval of adoption
agencies) and 129A(1)(c) (decisions regardingaccreditation of bodies);";
(b) after clause 3(h) insert— "(ha) Dental Practice Act 1999;";
(c) after clause 5(c) insert— "(ca) First Home Owner Grant Act 2000;".
