Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Act 1998

Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (Amendment No. 19) Rules 2007

The Rules Committee established by section 150 of the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Act 1998 makes the following Rules:

1Object

The object of these Rules is to allocate various enactments and provisions of enactments to various lists of the Tribunal.

2Authorising provisions

These Rules are made under section 157 of the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Act 1998 and all other enabling powers.

3Commencement

These Rules come into operation on 31 December 2007.

4Principal Rules

In these Rules, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Rules 1998[1] are called the Principal Rules.

5Allocation of functions—Owners Corporations Act 2006

(1)In Part 1 of Schedule 1 to the Principal Rules, after item 3(zaaa) insert—

"(zaab)Owners Corporations Act 2006 Part 6 and Part 12;".

(2)In Part 1 of Schedule 1 to the Principal Rules, after item 4(i) insert—

"(ia)Owners Corporations Act 2006 Part 6;".

(3)In Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Principal Rules, in item 6(b), after "1988" insert "Part 5,".

(4)In Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Principal Rules—

(a)in item 2(b), for "2005." substitute "2005;";

(b)after item 2(b) insert—

"(c)Owners Corporations Act 2006 Part 6 and Part 11, Divisions 1, 2 and 4.";

(c)in item 4(c), for "1987." substitute "1987;";

(d)after item 4(c) insert—

"(d)Owners Corporations Act 2006 Part 6 and Part 11, Divisions 1, 2 and 4.";

(e)after item 7(b) insert—

"(ba)Owners Corporations Act 2006 Part 6 and Part 11, Divisions 1, 2 and 4;".

6Allocation of functions—Private Security Act 2004

In Part 1 of Schedule 1 to the Principal Rules, after item 3(zb) insert—

"(zba)Private Security Act 2004 Part 7;".

7Allocation of functions—Disability Act 2006

In Schedule 1 to the Principal Rules—

(a)in Part 2, in item 7(aa), for "Divisions 2 and 3" substitute "Division 2";

(b)in Part 3, in item 2(aa), after "2006" insert "Part 5, Division 3,".
