Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Victims Support and Rehabilitation Act 1996.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Victims Support and Rehabilitation Regulation 2006 to exclude persons who are convicted of parking offences from any requirement to pay a compensation levy under the Victims Support and Rehabilitation Act 1996.

This Regulation is made under the Victims Support and Rehabilitation Act 1996, including sections 78 (1) and 88 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Victims Support and Rehabilitation Amendment
(Compensation Levy) Regulation 2011.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on 24 March 2011 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Victims Support and Rehabilitation Regulation 2006

Insert after clause 5 (c):

(d) offences relating to the parking, standing or waiting of a vehicle.
