Victims of Crime Commissioner Amendment Regulations 2024

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Victims of Crime Commissioner Regulations 2020 to prescribe a further agency for the purposes of section 28(1A) of the Victims of Crime Commissioner Act 2015.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 47 of the Victims of Crime Commissioner Act 2015.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 18 November 2024.

4Prescribed agencies

After regulation 4(d) of the Victims of Crime Commissioner Regulations 2020[1] insert—

"(da)the scheme decision maker within the meaning of the Victims of Crime (Financial Assistance Scheme) Act 2022;".
