I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Victims Compensation (Amendment) Act 1989, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 September 1990 as the day on which:

(a) such part of item (3) of Schedule 1 to the Act as inserts Part 6A into the Victims Compensation Act 1987; and

(b) section 3 of that Act in its application to that provision,

commence.
