I, Rear Admiral Sir DAVID JAMES MARTIN, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Victims Compensation (Amendment) Act 1989, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 February 1990 as the day on which that Act, except for:

(a)

such part of item (3) of Schedule 1 to that Act as inserts Part 6A into the Victims Compensation Act 1987; and

(b) Schedule 2 to that Act; and
(c) item (5) (a) of Schedule 3 to that Act; and

(d) section 3 of that Act in its application to those provisions,

commences.
