I, Rear Admiral Sir DAVID JAMES MARTIN, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Victims Compensation (Amendment) Act 1989, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 11 May 1990 as the day on which the provisions of Schedule 2 and Schedule 3 (5) (a) to that Act, and section 3 of that Act in its application to those provisions, commence.
