VETERINARY SURGEONS AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 1996

Made by His Excellency the Governor in Executive Council.

Citation

1. These re lations may be cited as the Veterinary Surgeons Amendment

Regulations l &6.

Principal regulations

2.      In these regulations the Veterinary Surgeons Regulations 197P are

referred to as the principal regulations.

Regulation 15 amended

3.     (1) Re lation 15 (1) (c) of the principal regulations and "and" after

that paragrap	Y	are deleted and the following is substituted -

(C)	the application for registration fee set out in item 1 of the Table to regulation 80 and, in addition to that fee, if the applicant has not previously been registered as a veterinary surgeon, whether in Australia or another count , the new graduate registration fee
set out in item 1A of that Tab e; and ?' 99
(2)	After regulation 15 (1) the following subregulation is inserted -
" application for registration ".

Regulation 16B amended

4. Regulation 16B (c) of the rincipal regulations is amended by deleting

"registration" and substituting t e following - R

Regulation 16C amended

5.      Regulation 16C (1) (b) of the principal regulations is amended by

deleting "registration" and substituting the following -

" application for registration ".

Registration 19 amended

6. (1) Regulation 19 (1) of the principal regulations is amended by

deleting "Every" and substituting the following -

" Subject to subregulation (41, every ".

(2) After regulation 19 (3) the following subregulation is inserted -

(4) Subre lation (1) does not apply to a person deemed to be

registered un F er the Act as a veterinary surgeon by virtue of being

granted a certificate of provisional registration as a veterina surgeon,

in accordance with section 20B of the Act, during the perio	a	that the
person is deemed to be so registered.

Regulation 80 amended

7.      Regulation 80 of the principal regulations is amended in the Table -

by inserting after item 1 the following items -
