Veterinary Surgeons Amendment (Fees) Regulations 2003

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1987 .5 May 2003

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Veterinary Surgeons Amendment (Fees) Regulations 2003 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the seventh day after the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Veterinary Surgeons Regulations 1988 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Schedule 2 amended (Fees) Schedule 2 to the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting the table and substituting:

Applications and registrations	Fee units
1.	Application for exemption under section 13 of the Act	384
2.	Application for registration under section 18 of the Act as veterinary surgeon	240
3.	Application for registration under section 18 of the Act as veterinary specialist	336
4.	Provisional registration under section 19 of the Act	144
5.	Temporary registration under section 20 of the Act	144
6.	Annual registration fee under section 22 of the Act –
(a) for primary registration	144
(b) for secondary registration	72
