Veterinary Surgeons Amendment

(Fees) Regulation 2003

under the

Veterinary Surgeons Act 1986

Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1986.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to decrease (from $260 to $235):

(a)

the annual roll fee payable under the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1986 for full registration as a veterinary surgeon under that Act, and

(b)

the fee payable under that Act for restoring a person’s name to the register of veterinary surgeons or the register of specialists kept under that Act.

This Regulation is made under the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1986, including sections

19 (1) and (3), 35 (5) and 71 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Veterinary Surgeons Amendment (Fees)
Regulation 2003.

2 Amendment of Veterinary Surgeons Regulation 1995

The Veterinary Surgeons Regulation 1995 is amended by omitting “260” wherever occurring in the second column of Part 1 of Schedule 3 (Fees relating to veterinary surgeons) and inserting instead “235”.
