Veterinary Surgeons Amendment Act 2009

An Act to amend the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1960.

[Assented to 21 May 2009]

The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

Veterinary Surgeons Amendment Act 2009

s. 1

1.             Short title

This is the Veterinary Surgeons Amendment Act 2009.

2.             Commencement

This Act comes into operation as follows —

(a)	sections 1 and 2 — on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent;
(b)	the rest of the Act — on a day fixed by proclamation.

3.             Act amended

This Act amends the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1960.

4.             Section 20 amended

In section 20(1)(a) delete “from a university in the

Commonwealth of Australia; or” and insert:

prescribed, or in a class prescribed, by the

regulations; or
