Veterinary Surgeons Act 1986

His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1986.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to provide that only persons employed under Part 2 of the Public Sector Management Act 1988 or the Zoological Parks Board Act 1973 are entitled to pay certain reduced registration and annual fees.

This Regulation is made under the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1986, including sections 16 (1) (c) and 19 and section 71 (the general regulation-making power).

1     Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Veterinary Surgeons Amendment (Fees)
Regulation 2000.

2 Amendment of Veterinary Surgeons Regulation 1995

The Veterinary Surgeons Regulation 1995 is amended as set out in

Schedule 1.

The explanatory note does not form part of this Regulation.

Omit paragraph (a) of the matter relating to “Application for registration
(section 16 (1) (c) of the Act)” in Part 1.
Insert instead:

(a)	full registration
(i) employed under Part 2 of the Public Sector

Management Act 1988 or the Zoological Parks

Board Act 1973 50

(ii)       employed in any other circumstances

(including in private practice) 100

of the Act)”.
Insert instead:

(a)	full registration
