1.      Name of instrument

This instrument is the Veterans’ Entitlements (Veterans’ Children Education Scheme – Portability Adjustments) Instrument 2012

2.      Commencement

This instrument commences on 1 January 2013.

1. Application

The variation to the Veterans’ Children Education Scheme by item 4 of the Schedule applies in relation to a period of temporary absence from Australia starting on or after 1 January 2013.
