Veterans’ Entitlements Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations are taken to have commenced on 1 January 1994.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Veterans’ Entitlements Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 9 (Travelling expenses under section 110 or 132 of the Act)

3.1   Subregulation 9 (7):

Omit “18.5 cents”, substitute “19.7 cents”.

4.    Application of amendment

4.1   The amendment made by regulation 3 has effect in relation to travel undertaken after the commencement of these Regulations.
