Veterans’ Entitlements Regulations2

(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986.

Commencement

1. These Regulations commence on 1 July 1988.

Travelling expenses under section 110 or 132 of the Act

2. Regulation 9 of the Veterans’ Entitlements Regulations is amended:

(a) by omitting from subregulation (8) “$47.50” and substituting “$51.00”; and

(b) by omitting paragraphs (10) (a), (b) and (c) and substituting the following paragraphs:

“(a) breakfast, $6.50;

(b) lunch, $6.50;

(c) dinner, $15.50;”.
