This Specification is the Veterans’ Entitlements (Pension Bonus Bereavement Payment — Disregarded Income) Specification 2007.

1. Commencement

This Specification commences on 1 January 2008.

1. Definition

In this Specification:

Act means the Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986.

1. Specification of income to be disregarded

For subparagraph 45UUB (1) (b) (ii) of the Act, compensation within the meaning of subsection 5NB (2) of the Act that is paid in the form of periodic payments to the person or the person’s deceased partner is specified.
