1 Name

This instrument is the Veterans' Entitlements (Pension Bonus Bereavement Payment – Disregarded Income) Instrument 2018.

2 Commencement

This instrument commences on the day after it is registered.

3 Authority

This instrument is made under subsection 45UUB(2) of the Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986.

4 Revocation

The Veterans’ Entitlements (Pension Bonus Bereavement Payment – Disregarded Income) Specification 2007 dated 21 December 2007 is revoked.

5 Definitions

In this instrument:

Act means the Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986.

6 Specification of income to be disregarded

For subparagraph 45UUB(1)(b)(ii) of the Act, compensation within the meaning of subsection 5NB(2) of the Actthat is paid in the form of periodic payments to the person or the person’s deceased partner is specified.
