Determination of Non-warlike Service

Operation VIGILANCE

I, Brendan Nelson, Minister for Defence:

a.determine that service rendered as a member of the Australian Defence Force assigned for service on Operation VIGILANCE on or after               1 July 2006 is non-warlike service for the purposes of the definition of “non-warlike service” in subsection 5C(1) of the Veteran’s Entitlements Act 1986, and

b.this Determination is taken to have commenced on 1 July 2006.
