Determination of Non-warlike Service

Operation RAMP

I, Bruce Billson, Minister for Veterans’ Affairs:

a.determine that:

(i). service rendered as a member of the Australian Defence Force assigned for service on Operation RAMP on or after 20 July 2006 in the specified area, is non-warlike service for the purposes of the definition of “non-warlike service” in subsection 5C(1) of the Act; and

(ii).   the specified area comprises Lebanon and its territorial waters and superjacent airspace.

b.This Determination is taken to have commenced on 20 July 2006.
