Determination of Non‑warlike service
OPERATION POLLARD

I, Bruce Scott, Minister for Veterans' Affairs for and on behalf of the Minister for Defence:

a.          revoke the determination of 6 March 1998 in relation to Operation

POLLARD, and

b.          determine that service rendered as a member of the ADF on Operation

POLLARD during the period 17 February 1998 to 1 October 2001 in the area
of operations specified below is non‑warlike service for the purposes of
subsection 5C(1) of the Veterans' Entitlements Act 1986.

•     The area of operations comprises all sea, airspace and land North and West from 5 deg 00 min S 68 deg 00 min E and encompassing the outer boundaries of Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Egypt, Sudan and Kenya.
