AN ACT to provide for exemption from rating under Section one hundred a of the Vermin Act, 1918, of Reserves vested in, held by, or placed under the control of Local Authorities.

This Act may be cited as the Vermin Act Amend- ment Act, 1936, and shall be read as one with the Vermin Act, 1918, as reprinted with amendments in the Ses- sional volume of the Statutes for the year 1925 and further amended by Acts Nos. 10 of 1926, 29 of 1929, 33 of 1930, and 33 of 1931 (hereinafter called the prin- cipal Act).

Section one hundred a of the principal Act as amended by Acts Nos. 10 of 1926, 29 of 1929, 33 of 1930, and 33 of 1931 is hereby further amended by adding a further proviso at the end of subsection (1) as fol- lows:—

Provided further, that as from the third day of January, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, any public reserve vested in, held by, or placed under the control of any municipality or road board shall be and be deemed to have been exempt from assessment of rates under this section.
