1.1       NAME OF LEGISLATIVE INSTRUMENT

1.1.1This instrument is the Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 81/02 – Fuel Consumption Labelling for Light Vehicles) 2008 Amendment 5.

1.1.2This instrument may also be cited as ADR 81/02 Amendment 5.

1.2       COMMENCEMENT

1.2.1This instrument commences the day after it is registered.

2          AMENDMENT OF VEHICLE STANDARD

2.1.1The changes specified in Schedule 1 amend Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 81/02 – Fuel Consumption Labelling for Light Vehicles) 2008.

1. SCHEDULE 1

[1]       Amend clause 5.2 to read:

“5.2Paragraph 1.1 of Annex 6 of Appendix B is amended by replacing the words ‘in force at the time of approval of the vehicle’ with the words ‘as applied under ADR79/02, ADR79/03 or ADR79/04 as applicable’.”
