1          LEGISLATIVE PROVISIONS

1.1       NAME OF LEGISLATIVE INSTRUMENT

1.1.1This instrument is the Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 81/02 – Fuel Consumption Labelling for Light Vehicles) 2008 Amendment 2.

1.1.2This instrument may also be cited as ADR 81/02 Amendment 2.

1.2       COMMENCEMENT

1.2.1This instrument commences the day after it is registered.

2          AMENDMENT OF VEHICLE STANDARD

2.1.1The changes specified in Schedule 1 amend Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 81/02 – Fuel Consumption Labelling for Light Vehicles) 2008.

SCHEDULE 1

1. Insert new clause 1.15 which reads:

“1.15    The dimensions of the red and green areas featuring the three fuel consumption values and the CO₂ emissions value may be increased by up to 1mm to allow for printing tolerances.”

1. Renumber existing 1.15 as clause 1.16.
