1.1.Name of Legislative Instrument

1.1.1.This instrument is the Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 69/00 – Full Frontal Impact Occupant Protection) 2006 Amendment 2.

1.2.Commencement

1.2.1.This instrument commences on the day after it is registered.

1. AMENDMENT OF VEHICLE STANDARD

2.1.The changes specified in Schedule 1 amend Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 69/00 – Full Frontal Impact Occupant Protection) 2006.

SCHEDULE 1

1. Insert a new clause 5.5.5 to read:

“5.5.5.          Any category of vehicle which complies with the requirements of ADR 4/... for seatbelt reminder systems of M₁ category vehicles is deemed to comply with the clauses 5.5.1 to 5.5.2.”
