1.1.Name of Legislative Instrument

1.1.1.This instrument is the Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 42/04 – General Safety Requirements) 2005 Amendment 3.

1.2.Commencement

1.2.1.This instrument commences on the day after it is registered.

1. AMENDMENT OF VEHICLE STANDARD

2.1.The changes specified in Schedule 1 amend Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 42/04 – General Safety Requirements) 2005.

SCHEDULE 1

1. Clause 8.2.1 amend to read:

“8.2.1.      cargo access doors, tailgates or other such structures when closed afford comparable protection; or”

1. Clause 10.3 amend to read:

“10.3.       NC Vehicles must meet the following requirements:”
