1.1.Name of Legislative Instrument

1.1.1.This instrument is the Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 42/04 – General Safety Requirements) 2005 Amendment 7.

1.2.Commencement

1.2.1.This instrument commences on the day after it is registered.

1. AMENDMENT OF VEHICLE STANDARD

2.1.The changes specified in Schedule 1 amend the Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 42/04 – General Safety Requirements) 2005.

SCHEDULE 1

1. Clause 3.3, renumber as clause 3.4.

1. Insert a new clause 3.3 to read

“Vehicles certified to ADR 42/05 or a later version need not comply with this rule.”
