1.1.Name of Legislative Instrument

1.1.1.This instrument is the Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 4/04 – Seatbelts) 2006 Amendment 3.

1.2.Commencement

1.2.1.This instrument commences on the day after it is registered.

1. AMENDMENT OF VEHICLE STANDARD

2.1.The changes specified in Schedule 1 amend Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 4/04 – Seatbelts) 2006.

SCHEDULE 1

1. Clause 3 amend “...from the dates set out in clauses 3.1, 3.2 and 3.6.” to “...from the dates set out in clauses 3.1, 3.2 and 3.7.”

1. Clause 3.6 renumber as 3.7.

1. Insert a new clause 3.6 to read

“Vehicles certified to ADR 4/05 or a later version need not comply with this rule.”
