1.1.Name of Legislative Instrument

1.1.1.This instrument is the Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 35/06 – Commercial Vehicle Brake Systems) 2018 Amendment 1.

1.2.Commencement

1.2.1.This instrument commences on the day after it is registered.

1. AMENDMENT OF VEHICLE STANDARD

2.1.The changes specified in Schedule 1 amend the Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 35/06 – Commercial Vehicle Brake Systems) 2018.

SCHEDULE 1

1. Clause 3.1, omit “3.10”, substitute “3.11”.

1. Clause 3.10, renumber as clause 3.11.

1. Insert a new clause 3.10 to read:

“3.10.              Vehicles certified to comply with the Australian Design Rule 35/07 – Commercial Vehicle Brake Systems, or a later version, are not required to comply with this rule.”
