1.1.Name of Legislative Instrument

1.1.1.This instrument is the Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 35/05 – Commercial Vehicle Brake Systems) 2013 Amendment 1.

1.2.Commencement

1.2.1.This instrument commences on the day after it is registered.

  1. AMENDMENT OF VEHICLE STANDARD

2.1.The changes specified in Schedule 1 amend Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 35/05 – Commercial Vehicle Brake Systems) 2013.


SCHEDULE 1

  1. Clause 4.1.5.2.1 amend

“….shall satisfy all the relevant requirements in clause 7.13 of this standard;”

with

“….shall satisfy all the relevant requirements in clause 7 of this standard;”

  1. Clause 4.1.5.2.3 insert additional text after “.......when any centre differential is unlocked.” to read:

“ …...when any centre differential is unlocked; or for all wheel drive vehicles fitted with a two speed transfer case, engagement of the higher of the two ranges.”

  1. Clause 4.1.5.2.5 amend

“…..‘Antilock System’ of a trailer. A separate device for the trailer alone is not permitted.”

with:

“……‘Antilock System’ of a trailer. A separate device for the vehicle or the trailer alone is not permitted.”
