An Act to amend the Vehicle and Traffic Act 1999 and the Road Rules 2019

Be it enacted by Her Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:

PART 1Preliminary1Short titleThis Act may be cited as the Vehicle and Traffic (Regulatory Reforms) Amendment Act 2023. 2CommencementThe provisions of this Act commence on a day or days to be proclaimed. PART 2Road Rules 2019 Amended3The amendments effected by this Part have been incorporated into the authorised version of the Road Rules 2019. 4The amendments effected by this Part have been incorporated into the authorised version of the Road Rules 2019. PART 4Concluding Provision8Repeal of ActThis Act is repealed on the first anniversary of the day on which the last uncommenced provision of this Act commenced.
