I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Vehicle and Traffic Act 1999 .17 December 2001

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Vehicle and Traffic (Driver Licensing and Vehicle Registration) Amendment (Traffic Control Consequential) Regulations 2001 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the day on which section 22 of the Traffic Control (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act 2001 commences. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Vehicle and Traffic (Driver Licensing and Vehicle Registration) Regulations 2000 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Regulation 81 amended (Exemption for agricultural implements, &c.) Regulation 81(2) of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting " section 40 of the Traffic Act 1925 " and substituting "section 56A of the Act".
