Vehicle and Traffic (Driver Licensing and Vehicle Registration) Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2007

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Vehicle and Traffic Act 1999 .3 December 2007

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Vehicle and Traffic (Driver Licensing and Vehicle Registration) Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2007 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Vehicle and Traffic (Driver Licensing and Vehicle Registration) Regulations 2000 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Schedule 2 amended (Demerit Points Offences) Part 3 of Schedule 2 to the Principal Regulations is amended as follows: (a) by omitting "stopped" from column 2 of item 170 in the table ; (b) by omitting "stopped" from column 2 of item 171 in the table ; (c) by omitting "stopped" from column 2 of item 172 in the table ; (d) by omitting "stopped" from column 2 of item 173 in the table ; (e) by omitting "stopped" from column 2 of item 174 in the table ; (f) by omitting "stopped" from column 2 of item 175 in the table ; (g) by omitting "stopped" from column 2 of item 176 in the table .
