I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Vehicle and Traffic Act 1999 .16 December 2002

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Vehicle and Traffic (Driver Licensing and Vehicle Registration) Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2002 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on 1 January 2003. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Vehicle and Traffic (Driver Licensing and Vehicle Registration) Regulations 2000 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Regulation 101 amended (Rebate for interchangeable trailers) Regulation 101 of the Principal Regulations is amended as follows: (a) by omitting subregulations (3) and (4) ; (b) by omitting from subregulation (7) "or a plant trailer (as the case requires)"; (c) by omitting "a plant trailer or" from the definition of C in subregulation (8)(c) ; (d) by omitting subregulation (10) .
