Vehicle and Traffic (Driver Licensing and Vehicle Registration) Amendment Regulations 2003

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Vehicle and Traffic Act 1999 .14 April 2003

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Vehicle and Traffic (Driver Licensing and Vehicle Registration) Amendment Regulations 2003 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on 1 May 2003. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Vehicle and Traffic (Driver Licensing and Vehicle Registration) Regulations 2000 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Schedule 1 amended (Fees) Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting paragraphs (a) and (b) from item 5 and substituting:

(a) in the case of a class "C" driver licence where the person is not a novice learner driver 26

(b) in the case of a class "C" driver licence where the person is a novice learner driver 42.7

(c) in the case of a class "R" driver licence 26

(d) in any other case 30
