VARIATION TO LICENCE AREA PLAN TASMANIA TELEVISION – NO 1 OF 2006

Pursuant to subsection 26(2) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992, the Australian Communications and Media Authority varies the Licence Area Plan Tasmania Television determined on 25 July 2002 (the principal instrument) in the manner set out below:

The determination in the principal instrument is varied to:

(a) number each of the paragraphs in the determination consecutively as clauses (1) and (2);

(b) in clause (2), omit the words and numbers “Attachments 1.2 – 1.134” and substitute the words and numbers “Attachments 1.2 – 1.24, 1.26 – 1.87, 1.89 – 1.101, 1.103 – 1.114, 1.116 – 1.132 and 1.134 – 1.143”; and

(c) Insert the following clause after clause (2):

“(3) A reference in this determination to a schedule or an attachment includes a reference to a schedule as amended from time to time.”

Under the heading “SCHEDULES”, immediately following the determination;

(a) omit the words “Each of the Schedule sets out:”; and

(b) omit all six paragraphs marked with dot points; and

(c) omit the heading “Status Column” and text in two lines immediately following that heading.

Schedules to the principle instrument are varied to omit Schedule One of the principal instrument and substitute the table headed Schedule One in item 2 on page 8 of this instrument.

Attachments to the principal instrument are varied to:

(a) omit all attachments from Attachments 1.1 to Attachment 1.5 of the principal instrument and substitute all attachments from Attachments 1.1 to Attachment 1.5 of this instrument;

(b) omit Attachment 1.7 of the principal instrument and substitute Attachment 1.7 of this instrument;

(c) omit Attachment 1.8 of the principal instrument and substitute Attachment 1.8 of this instrument;

(d) omit all attachments from Attachment 1.10 to Attachment 1.13 of the principal instrument and substitute all attachments from Attachment 1.10 to Attachment 1.13 of this instrument;

(e) omit Attachment 1.20 of the principal instrument and substitute Attachment 1.20 of this instrument;
