VARIATION TO LICENCE AREA PLAN FOR REMOTE CENTRAL AND EASTERN AUSTRALIA – NO 1 OF 2006

Pursuant to subsection 26(2) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992, the Australian Communications and Media Authority varies the Licence Area Plan for Remote Central and Eastern Australia Radio determined on 14 October 1996 (the principal instrument) in the manner set out below:

The determination in the principal instrument is varied:

(a) in clause (2), to omit the numbers “1.2 – 1.26” and to substitute the numbers “1.2, 1.4-1.6 and 1.8-1.26”.

(b) in clause (3), to omit the numbers “2.50-2.53 “ and to substitute the numbers “2.50 – 2.56“.

Schedules to the principal instrument are varied to:

(a) omit Schedule One of the principal instrument and to substitute the table headed Schedule One in Item 3 on page 7 of this instrument;

(b) omit Schedule Two of the principal instrument and to substitute the table headed Schedule Two in Item 4 on pages 8 and 9 of this instrument;

(c) omit Schedule Three of the principal instrument and to substitute the table headed Schedule Three in Item 5 on pages 9-13 of this instrument;

(d) insert the Tables (including the headings) in item 6 on page 13 of this instrument after Schedule 50 of the principal instrument.

(3) Attachments to the principal instrument are varied to:

(a) omit Attachment 1.1 of the principal instrument and to substitute Attachment 1.1 of this instrument;

(b) omit Attachment 1.3 of the principal instrument;

(c) omit attachments 1.4, 1.5 and 1.6 of the principal instrument and to substitute attachments 1.4, 1.5 and 1.6 of this instrument:

(d) omit Attachment 1.7 of the principal instrument;

(e) omit attachments 1.9 to 1.14 of the principal instrument and to substitute attachments 1.9 to 1.14 of this instrument;

(f) omit Attachment 1.16 of the principal instrument and to substitute Attachment 1.16 of this instrument;
