The Australian Communications and Media Authority makes the following instrument under subsection 26(2) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.

1  Name

This is the Variation to Licence Area Plan – Scottsdale Radio – December 2001 – 2019 (No. 1).

2  Commencement

  This instrument commences at the start of the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislation.

Note:    The Federal Register of Legislation may be accessed at Authority

This instrument is made under subsection 26(2) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.

4  Amendments

  The Licence Area Plan – Scottsdale Radio – December 2001 (F2005B00961) (principal instrument) is varied as follows:

(a)  the principal instrument is renamed as the Licence Area Plan – Scottsdale Radio;

(b)  omit page 2 of the principal instrument;

(c)  in the heading to the principal instrument, omit:

(i)  “– DECEMBER 2001”; and

(ii)  “DETERMINATION”;

(d)  omit paragraph (1), substitute:

This plan for broadcasting services in the Scottsdale area of Tasmania is made under subsection 26(1) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.

(e)  in paragraph (2), omit “Determination” and substitute “plan” (each occurrence);

(f)  in paragraph (3), omit “Determination” and substitute “plan” (each occurrence);

(g)  omit paragraph (4), substitute:

(4)      In this plan, unless the contrary intention appears:

(a)     a reference to a schedule or an attachment is a reference to a schedule or an attachment to this plan; and

(b)     a reference to the Broadcasting Services (Technical Planning) Guidelines 2017 is a reference to that instrument as in force from time to time; and

(c)     a reference to any other legislative instrument is a reference to that other instrument as in force from time to time; and

(d)     a reference to any other kind of instrument or writing is a reference to that other kind of instrument or writing as in force or in existence at the time the reference was included in this plan.
