Valuers Registration Amendment

(Fees) Regulation 1997

Valuers Registration Act 1975

His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Valuers Registration Act 1975.

Explanatory note
The objects of this Regulation are:

(a)	to increase from $120 to $130 the application fee for registration as a practising real estate valuer, an associate real estate valuer, a valuer of licensed premises or an associate valuer of licensed premises, and
(b)	to increase from $75 to $80 the application fee for the renewal of registration as a valuer.

This Regulation is made under the Valuers Registration Act 1975, including sections 13 (2) (b), 16 and 30 (the general regulation-making power, and in particular, section 30 (2) (b) and (c)).

1 Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Valuers Registration Amendment (Fees)

Regulation 1997.

2 Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 August 1997.

3 Amendment of Valuers Registration Regulation 1993

The Valuers Registration Regulation 1993 is amended as set out in Schedule 1.

4 Note

The explanatory note does not form part of this Regulation.

Schedule 1 Amendments

(Clause 3)

[1]        Clause 5 Applications for registration

Omit “$120” from clause 5 (1) (a). Insert instead “$1 30”.

1. Clause 6 Applications for renewal of registration

   Omit “$75”. Insert instead “$80”.
