Valuation of Land Amendment Regulations 2006

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Valuation of Land Act 2001 .6 November 2006

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Valuation of Land Amendment Regulations 2006 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the day on which Part 1 of the Valuation of Land Amendment Act 2006 commences. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Valuation of Land Regulations 2002 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Regulation 3 amended (Interpretation) Regulation 3 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting subregulation (2) and substituting the following subregulation: (2)  The fees specified in these regulations are GST inclusive. 5Regulations 4 , 5 and 6 rescinded Regulations 4 , 5 and 6 of the Principal Regulations are rescinded. 6Regulations 9 , 10 and 11 rescinded Regulations 9 , 10 and 11 of the Principal Regulations are rescinded. 7Regulations 12 and 13 substituted Regulations 12 and 13 of the Principal Regulations are rescinded and the following regulations are substituted: 12Fee for certified copy of entry on valuation roll For the purposes of section 52(2) of the Act, the prescribed fee is 18 fee units. 13Fee for certified copy of certificate of new valuation For the purposes of section 52(4) of the Act, the prescribed fee is 18 fee units. 8Regulation 14 rescinded Regulation 14 of the Principal Regulations is rescinded. 9Schedule 1 rescinded Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations is rescinded.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation) These regulations amend the

(a) removing the forms prescribed for the purposes of the Valuation of Land Act 2001 so that they may be replaced with forms approved by the Valuer-General; and (b) providing that the fees specified in those regulations are GST inclusive.
