VALUATION OF LAND AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 1991

Made by His Excellency the Governor in Executive Council.
Citation
1. These regulations may be cited as the Valuation of Land Amendment
Regulations 1991.
Commencement

2.    These regulations shall come into operation on 1 July 1991.

Regulation 5 amended

3.    Regulation 5 of the Valuation of Land Regulations 1979* is amended by

repealing subregulation (1) and substituting the following subregulation—

" (1) Subject to this regulation, the charges to be paid by a rating or taxing authority in respect of the matters referred to in section 38 of the Act shall be determined as follows—

(a) where valuation is not of the kind referred to in paragraph (b)—

(i) valuation charge $41.00 per hour; (ii) clerical charge $23.00 per hour,

with a minimum charge of $37.50 per valuation;

(b) where the valuation is based on any of subparagraphs (b) (i) to (vi) in the definition of "unimproved value" in section 4 (1) of the Act—

(i) valuation charge $41.00 per hour;

(ii)  clerical charge $23.00 per hour;

(iii)    fixed service charge $21.00 per correspondence,

but in any event shall not exceed the cost of the service. ".
