An Act to amend the Valuation of Land Act 1978.

[Assented to 26 November 2009]

The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

Valuation of Land Amendment (Assessed Value) Act 2009

s. 1

1.             Short title

This is the Valuation of Land Amendment (Assessed Value)

Act 2009.

2.             Commencement

This Act comes into operation as follows —

(a)	sections 1 and 2 — on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent;
(b)	the rest of the Act — on a day fixed by proclamation, and different days may be fixed for different provisions.

3.             Act amended

This Act amends the Valuation of Land Act 1978.

4.             Section 4 amended

In section 4(1) in the definition of assessed value:

(a) delete “thereof ” and insert:

of the land

(b) delete “prescribed;” and insert:

prescribed either —

(a)	in respect of land generally; or
(b)	in respect of a class of lands which includes the land;
