VALUATION OF LAND ACT 1916 - REGULATION

(Relating to fees for valuation lists)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Valuation of Land Act 1916, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Regulation No. 2 under the Valuation of Land Act 1916 is amended:

(a)	by omitting from clause 5 (1) (b) the words "the Water Board and" wherever occurring;
(b)	by omitting from clause 5 (1) (b) the word "areas" and by inserting instead the word "area";

(c) by inserting after clause 5 (1) (c) the following paragraph:

(d) in the case of the' Water Board - $2 for each property in respect of which the Water Board has levied a service charge according to the land value of the land concerned.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to amend Regulation No. 2 under the Valuation

of Land Act 1916 to provide that the fee payable by the Water Board for the supply

of a valuation list by the Valuer-General is to be calculated on the basis of $2 for
each property in. respect of which the Water Board levies a service charge according
to the land value of the land.
