Utilities Act 2000

1. Name of regulations

   These regulations are the Utilities (Water Restrictions) Amendment Regulations 2003 (No 1).

2. Commencement

   These regulations commence on the day after their notification day.

   NoteThe naming and commencement provisions automatically commence on the notification day (see Legislation Act, s 75 (1)).

3. Regulations amended

   These regulations amend the Utilities (Water Restrictions) Regulations 2002.

4. Regulation 6 (1) (c)

   substitute

   (c)the imposition of each stage of water restrictions by reference to 1 or more of the following:

   (i)the capacity or quality of stored water available to the utility for water services;

   (ii)any reduction in water consumption to be achieved.
